Pad printing

Pad printing (in English Pad printing) is an indirect printing process, which allows to reproduce, in a simple way and with high fidelity and resolution, drawings, writings and decorations both on flat surfaces and on concave surfaces, convex or otherwise irregular. Basically it could be defined as a system that allows us to transfer 2D images and graphics on 3D objects and surfaces.

By means of a soft and flexible silicone pad, an indelible ink film is transferred from a plate engraved in steel or photopolymer, that is the cliché on the surface of the support. It allows to print with a definition superior to the screen printing allowing the reproduction of the finer strokes with sharpness, even in more colors and printing “wet on wet”. You can in fact obtain excellent prints even in four colors, using blurred clichés
